Bundle O' Ties - NZ only

Bundle O' Ties - NZ only - Main image
$1.7 $2.5 In stock

Category: Offcuts

We get a lot of ties of our lovely fabric tied around the bundles of Thunderpants. Our fabric is 90% cotton so it makes great garden ties that break down over time.

*NZ ONLY - it isn't very eco friendly to ship our waste too far afield. Please find a local supplier and encourage them to sell / give you their offcuts for ties.

*These bundles are $2.50 and we use that money to entertain the school children that hang around here chatting and tying them up for you. Since the money isn't given to them directly it isn't child labour, technically.

George F. ★★★★★

Finally got my hands on a bundle, and they're perfect for training my climbing roses — soft enough to not damage stems but sturdy enough to hold. The fact they're 90% cotton and will eventually break down in the garden is exactly what I needed for no-waste tying.

Ella S. ★★★★★

I've been using these to tie up my tomato plants and they hold well even in windy weather. The fact that they're 90% cotton means I don't have to worry about removing them at the end of the season.

Madison X. ★★★★☆

The cotton ties are sturdy enough for my tomato stakes but soft enough to twist without snapping, which is exactly what I needed. They're pretty short though, so I had to double up on the thicker plants. Still, knowing they'll compost in the garden eventually makes them worth it.
